As part of our Pilgrims of Hope journey, the Office of Evangelization in collaboration with the Office of Family Life, offers you an opportunity to join members of our Archdiocesan family and experience the Eternal City and the ‘Green Heart’ of Italy in the Jubilee Year.
Our journey will lead us to visit the four Papal Basilicas in Rome, Saint Peter’s in the Vatican, Saint John Lateran, Saint Mary Major, and Saint Paul Outside the Walls. These are the ‘main’ churches which will have Holy Doors opened by the Pope, doors which will remain open throughout the Jubilee year. Other highlights will include participation in the Jubilee of Families, Grandparents, and the Elderly Mass.
Also, we will visit the tombs of Saint Francis of Assisi, Saint Clare, and Blessed Carlo Acutis in Assisi; the Shrine of Saint Padre Pio in San Giovanni Rotondo, and the church dedicated to St. Catherine of Siena, which will offer pilgrims the chance to receive the sacrament of reconciliation and nurture their faith through prayer.
Costs: $4,390.00 for double occupancy or an additional $600 for single occupancy.
