National Eucharistic Pilgrimage 2026

Celebrate America’s 250th year with a powerful journey of faith. This year, the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage proudly carries the theme: One Nation, Under God. This is a call to build unity through prayer, and to let Jesus, present in the Eucharist, renew and heal the heart of our country, one soul at a time. As the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage unfolds, the Perpetual Pilgrims will carry the Blessed Sacrament across the country, engaging the universality of the Church by stopping at parishes in both urban centers and rural communities. Their journey will pass by some of the most historic landmarks along the East Coast. The USCCB-sponsored Eucharistic Pilgrimage will pass through The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington June 5-6, 2026.

What is the National Eucharistic Revival?

The National Eucharistic Revival is an initiative by the U.S. bishops that aims to inspire, educate, and unite the faithful in a more intimate relationship with Jesus in the Eucharist. The Eucharistic Revival is not a step-by-step plan or a series of meetings. Rather, the revival is a grassroots call and a challenge for every Catholic across the United States to rekindle the fire of love and devotion for the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus. It is an unprecedented movement of Catholics across the United States—healed, converted, formed, and unified by an encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist—sent out on mission “for the life of the world.”

This Revival launched on the Feast of Corpus Christi, on June 19, 2022. It will include a Eucharistic Pilgrimage that will pass through The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington June 5-6, 2026.

Why the National Eucharistic Revival?

Jesus is Calling Us Deeper

He promises to restore and renew his people.

Our world is hurting. We all need healing, yet many of us are separated from the very source of our strength. Jesus Christ invites us to return to the source and summit of our faith in the celebration of the Eucharist.

Mission

The mission of the National Eucharistic Revival is to renew the Church by enkindling a living relationship with Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. This revival movement is in answer to a call by the Holy Spirit, and all the fruits belong to the Spirit.

National Eucharistic Congress

National Eucharistic Congress

The 10th National Eucharistic Congress was a profound moment for the whole Church in the United States as our Catholic family united in prayer. 60,000 Catholics gathered in Indianapolis for this generational event, and countless more across the nation joined us via livestream.
