Office of Missions

This office is part of the Secretariat for Evangelization and Synodal Renewal.

The Office of Missions promotes a universal missionary spirit by animating, educating, and responding to universal call of Christ to “Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations.” Additionally, The Office of Missions supports The Pontifical Mission Societies through the Society for the Propagation of the Faith, the Society of St. Peter the Apostle, the Missionary Childhood Association, the Missionary Union of Priests and Religious, and the annual Mission Cooperative Appeal Plan. Solidarity with the marginalized around the world is developed through fostering relationships between mission dioceses and mission groups and facilitating Catholic Relief Services’ Rice Bowl collection.
