Consolation
Separated or Divorced Catholics
The Ministry for Separated and Divorced Catholics (ADW-SDC) is a ministry of the Office of Family Life to men and women in the Archdiocese of Washington who are going through marital separation or divorce. ADW-SDC advocates for and encourages the spiritual, emotional, and social recovery and development of those who are separated, divorced, or are Catholics in irregular marriages following a divorce.

Grieving Parents
The Office of Family Life offers consolation, encouragement, and hope in the promise of Christ’s Resurrection to parents grieving the loss of a child of any age who died by any cause. Offered by grieving parents for grieving parents, these gatherings provide parents who are grieving the loss of a child with the opportunity to focus on their spiritual journey and to find consolation in the company of others who understand what they are going through. We hope you will join us for a Grieving Parent evening of reflection or spiritual retreat which are offered in collaboration with the Emmaus Ministry for Grieving Parents.
Visit the Events section to find an upcoming retreat or see a list of monthly one-hour mid-week gatherings.
