Cardinal Wilton Gregory to Celebrate Holy Week Liturgies

Events for the end of Lent and celebrating the joy of Easter will be open to all as well as live-streamed

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Cardinal Wilton Gregory will celebrate Holy Week liturgies from the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, April 2-9, marking Palm Sunday and the Church’s most solemn rituals of the Triduum — Holy Thursday, Good Friday and the Easter Vigil — and culminating in the joyous Masses of Easter Day.

The liturgies at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle and the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception are open to all worshippers, as well as live-streamed.

Here is the schedule for liturgies celebrated by Cardinal Gregory. Unless otherwise noted, Cardinal Gregory will preside. Also unless noted, all these liturgies take place at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, 1725 Rhode Island Ave NW, Washington, D.C. Media are welcome to attend.
