Palm Sunday celebrates Jesus’ triumphant entrance into Jerusalem. People filled the streets to watch Jesus ride into the city on a donkey, and threw palms at his feet to celebrate his arrival. They hailed Jesus as a King, but did not know his crown would be of thorns and his Kingdom in heaven.
Palm Sunday marks the start of Holy Week—blessing palm branches in memory of Christ’s triumphant journey into Jerusalem. After the blessing of the palms, we will celebrate Holy Mass.

El Domingo de Ramos celebramos la entrada triunfal de Jesús en Jerusalén. La gente llenó las calles para ver al Señor que entraba en la ciudad montado en un burro, y tendían palmas sobre el camino para celebrar su llegada. Vitoreaban a Jesús como rey, pero no sabían que su corona sería de espinas y que su Reino sería de los cielos.
El Domingo de Ramos marca el comienzo de la Semana Santa, con la bendición de las palmas en conmemoración de la entrada triunfal de Jesucristo en Jerusalén. Después de la bendición de las palmas, celebraremos la Santa Misa.
