Come and See!

Angels are powerful spiritual beings tasked with doing God’s work, and this includes assisting our efforts to spread the truth about the dignity of human life. Though the first duty of angels is to worship and adore the face of God, they also provide every human life with physical protection and spiritual guidance. Angels communicate to us through inspiration or directly through our senses, though their spiritual work is normally imperceptible. They can illuminate the human mind with God’s truth. Our prayers on behalf of human life can be strengthened by the assistance of these angels in various ways. Strengthened by the joy of Christ, we look forward with hope to the day when we will rejoice with all the angels and saints in heaven that we have faithfully spread the good news about the Lord, the giver of all life.

The Pope Francis Center Adults Living with Autism Faith Group are continuing their study of Angels in The Bible. All are welcome to join! Immediately following our discussion, we will celebrate a low-sensory Vigil Mass at 4:30 pm. After Mass we will have fellowship and light refreshments. You don’t need to be a member of this parish to attend—everyone is welcome.

Grupo de Fe para Adultos con Autismo: Estudio de los Ángeles en la Biblia

Los ángeles son poderosos seres espirituales encargados de realizar la obra de Dios, lo que incluye apoyar nuestros esfuerzos por difundir la verdad sobre la dignidad de la vida humana. Si bien su principal deber es adorar el rostro de Dios, también brindan protección física y guía espiritual a toda vida humana. Los ángeles se comunican con nosotros mediante la inspiración o directamente a través de nuestros sentidos, aunque su labor espiritual suele ser imperceptible. Pueden iluminar la mente humana con la verdad de Dios. Nuestras oraciones por la vida humana pueden verse fortalecidas por la ayuda de estos ángeles de diversas maneras. Fortalecidos por la alegría de Cristo, esperamos con esperanza el día en que nos regocijaremos con todos los ángeles y santos en el cielo por haber difundido fielmente la buena nueva acerca del Señor, el dador de toda vida.

El Grupo de Fe para Adultos con Autismo del Centro Papa Francisco continúa su estudio sobre los Ángeles en la Biblia. ¡Todos están invitados! Inmediatamente después de nuestra charla, celebraremos una Misa de Vigilia para personas con baja sensibilidad a las 4:30 p. m. Después de la misa, tendremos convivencia y un refrigerio ligero.
