Widows and Widowers Join Us for a Lenten Reflection

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington Post Cana for Widows and Widowers is having a half day of Lenten Reflection at Our Lady of Grace in Leisure World on Tuesday, March 10^th. Our new Post Cana moderator, Father Tom LaHood, Holy Redeemer pastor, will be our celebrant and will also join us for lunch.  The Mass will begin at 11:00 followed by lunch in the parish center.

The reservation fee is $25 for members and $30 for interested participants.

Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church is located at 15661 Norbeck Boulevard (Leisure World), Silver Spring, MD 20906.

Our noon lunch menu is being catered by Luis Javel from AYS Hospitality:

Beef chili, Vegetarian chili, Grilled Chicken, Corn bread
Fruit salad. Caesar salad

What is Post Cana?

Post Cana is an organization for the mutual support of widows and widowers of all ages and faiths, sponsored by the Office of Family Life of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington, DC. Lives change dramatically after the death of a spouse. Post Cana members engage in spiritual, social, intellectual, and other positive programs that promote and enrich their lives through fellowship. They have a common thread of grief and healing, and learn from each other through organized get-togethers. We welcome new widows and widowers to join.
