Holy Week Masses Live-Streamed by The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington
Palm Sunday Mass | Chrism Mass | Liturgy of Tenebrae | Holy Thursday Mass | Good Friday Liturgy | Easter Vigil Mass | Easter Sunday Mass
Holy Saturday is a day of waiting. After Jesus died on Friday, the disciples were scared and went to hide in the Upper Room together, for fear of death. We wait with the Apostles in the Upper Room, as the body of Jesus lies in the tomb. Today is a day for silence and prayer as we wait for Jesus to return to us.
At the beginning of Mass in the darkened Cathedral, Cardinal McElroy will light the Paschal Candle, which represents Christ bringing light to the world through His Resurrection.
Join us as Cardinal McElroy celebrates an Easter Vigil Mass on April 19 at 8:00 PM EDT at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle in person or watch our livestream video on our YouTube channel. This Mass is bilingual in English & Spanish.
The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington Office of Deaf and Disabilities Ministry offers a Holy Week and Easter schedule for Masses and Liturgies with American Sign Language Interpretation. Local parishes may also provide ASL interpretation; please contact a local ADW parish of your choosing for more information on what services are available.

Vigilia Pascual
