The Secretariat for Communications was created as part of a focus in the archdiocese on the “New Evangelization,” encouraging Catholics who participate in the Church to reinvigorate their own faith and invite others whose faith has grown stale to reconnect and rediscover Christ. It includes the Office of Media and Public Relations, Office of Digital Media, Office of Multimedia Production and Carroll Publishing.
The Office of Media and Public Relations is the archdiocese’s point of contact for media and can provide information as well as arrange interviews. Members of the media can contact the Office of Media and Public Relations by calling 301-853-4516 or sending an email to [email protected].
