The Christmas Eve Mass for the Solemnity of the Nativity of the Lord that Washington Cardinal Wilton Gregory celebrated on Dec. 24, 2022 at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle opened with the cardinal blessing the Nativity scene with holy water and then incense.
