Join us for a Mass to commemorate the feast of St. Pedro Calungsod
Saint Pedro Calungsod
St. Pedro Calungsod (Latin: Petrus Calungsod, Italian: Pietro Calungsod; (July 21, 1654 – April 2, 1672), also known as Peter Calungsod or Pedro Calungsod, is a young Roman Catholic Filipino Saint. He was a migrant, sacristan, and missionary catechist, who along with the
Spanish Jesuit missionary, Diego Luis de San Vitores, suffered religious persecution and martyrdom in Guam for their missionary work in 1672.

This Mass will be in English. This celebration is sponsored and organized by the DC Filipino Catholic Community under its chaplain, Fr. Patrick Agustin, Parochial Vicar of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Gaithersburg, Maryland, in collaboration with the archdiocesan Office of Cultural Diversity and Outreach.

San Pedro Calungsod (Latin: Petrus Calungsod, Italian: Pietro Calungsod; (Julio 21, 1654 – Abril 2, 1672), también conocido como Peter Calungsod o Pedro Calungsod, fué un Santo Filipino Católico Romano. San Pedro Calungsod fue un migrante, sacristán, misionero catequista quien junto al Jesuita misionero Español, Diego Luis de San Vitores, sufrió persecución religiosa y martirio en Guam for su trabajo misionero en 1672.
