Holy Mass for the Epiphany of the Lord

Join The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington as we celebrate the Holy Mass for the Epiphany of the Lord from St. Matthew’s Cathedral in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Cardinal Wilton Gregory will serve as principal celebrant. This Mass will be celebrated in English.

We celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany. The story of the three Magi who bring Jesus gifts ends with the phrase, “they returned home another way.” This is a reminder to us that when we encounter Jesus we are always called to conversion, to change our lives and share the good news of Jesus who changed us. What gifts do you have? How might you share them with Jesus, His Church, and the world?

Acompáñenos, aquí en la Arquidiócesis Católica Romana de Washington, para la celebración de la Santa Misa de la Epifanía del Señor desde la Catedral de San Mateo Apóstol en Washington, D.C. el domingo 7 de enero de 2024 a las 11:00 a.m. El Cardenal Wilton Gregory será el celebrante principal. Esta Misa se celebrará en inglés. 

Celebramos esta Solemnidad de la Epifanía del Señor, en la cual escuchamos la historia de los tres reyes magos o sabios que le traen regalos al Niño Jesús y que termina con la frase: “regresaron a su tierra por otro camino”. Esto nos recuerda que, cuando tenemos un encuentro con Cristo Jesús, estamos llamados continuamente a la conversión, a cambiar de vida y a compartir con otros la buena noticia de que Jesús nos ha transformado. Ahora bien, ¿Qué dones tienes tú? ¿Cómo puedes compartirlos con Jesús, con su Iglesia y con el mundo?
