The Celebration of the Saints of Africa

All are invited to the Celebration of the Saints of Africa

The Celebration of the Saints of Africa will be held on Saturday, June 6 at 4:00 p.m. ET at Our Lady of Sorrows in Takoma Park, MD. Join us for Mass with our Principal Celebrant, Most Reverend Evelio Menjivar, Auxiallary Bishop of Washington .

Vigil Mass: 4:00 p.m.
Cultural Reception, Merit Awards and Keynote Speech: 5:30 p.m.

The theme for this year is “United in Chirst, We Walk in the Light of God”  Hebrews 10:23”.

This Mass celebration is organized by the African Catholic Association (ACA) with the support of The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington.

There will be a reception to follow Mass.

Our Lady of Sorrows is located at 1006 Larch Ave, Takoma Park, MD 20912.

La Celebración de los Santos Africanos se llevará a cabo el sábado 6 de junio a las 4:00 p. m. (hora del este) en la parroquia Nuestra Señora de los Dolores (Our Lady of Sorrows), en Takoma Park, MD. Acompáñenos en la Misa con nuestro Celebrante Principal, el Excelentísimo Monseñor Evelio Menjivar, Obispo Auxiliar de Washington.

Misa de Vigilia: 4:00 p. m.
Recepción cultural, entrega de premios al mérito y discurso principal: 5:30 p. m.

El tema de este año es: «Unidos en Cristo, caminamos en la luz de Dios» (Hebreos 10:23).

Esta celebración eucarística es organizada por la Asociación Católica Africana (ACA), con el apoyo de la Arquidiócesis Católica Romana de Washington.

Al finalizar la Misa, se ofrecerá una recepción.
