Mission Cooperative Appeal Plan Application

Welcome! Thank you for your interest in The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington’s 2027 Mission Cooperative Appeal Plan. Our approved mission speakers are partners in our efforts to animate and educate the faithful about the mission work of the universal Church. Let us be missionary disciples together!

The 2027 application opens on September 11, 2026 and closes on January 4, 2027.
Submission of application is no guarantee of selection.
Selected mission groups will receive confirmation by March 2027. If you are not contacted by the Office of Missions by March 31, 2027 then your mission group has not been selected and you are welcome to apply for the next cycle when the application re-opens.
Appeals must be conducted between May and October 2027.
Responses to letters or emails of inquiry will not be answered.
Applicants do not need to submit a Letter of Good Standing with this application. Selected mission groups will be required to provide a Letter of Good Standing before mission appeal visits.
