We welcome all on Saturday, May 31, 2025 to the Pilgrimage and Celebration of the Holy Jubilee 2025 in Washington, D.C.
One of the most important observances of a Jubilee Year is the pilgrimage. With its Jewish origin in the people of God making a pilgrim journey to the Temple for various high feasts, Pilgrimage allows us to journey to various sacred sites, appreciating the beauty of creation along the way, being open to silence and recollection, forming friendships with fellow pilgrims, and seeking Christ, the way (John 14:6), who desires to walk with us (Luke 24:15) in every encounter and situation.
Making a pilgrimage allows us to intentionally have the aim to encounter the Lord, who is the Way, in the rough path or arduous walk, in the silence of our journey or the silence we keep before him in the Blessed Sacrament, in the friendships we form with fellow pilgrims and in the created nature.

Damos la bienvenida a todos el sábado 31 de mayo de 2025 a la Peregrinación y Celebración del Santo Jubileo 2025 en Washington, D.C.
Una de las celebraciones más importantes de un Año Jubilar es la peregrinación. Con su origen judío en el pueblo de Dios que realiza un viaje de peregrinación al Templo para diversas fiestas importantes, la Peregrinación nos permite viajar a varios lugares sagrados, apreciando la belleza de la creación a lo largo del camino, estando abiertos al silencio y al recogimiento, formando amistades con compañeros peregrinos y buscando a Cristo, el camino (Juan 14:6), que desea caminar con nosotros (Lucas 24:15) en cada encuentro y situación.
Hacer una peregrinación nos permite tener intencionalmente el objetivo de encontrar al Señor, que es el Camino, en el camino difícil o arduo, en el silencio de nuestro camino o el silencio que guardamos ante él en el Santísimo Sacramento, en las amistades que formamos con los compañeros peregrinos y en la naturaleza creada.
