Eight Men to be Ordained as Priests for the Archdiocese of Washington

On Saturday, June 20, 8 men will receive the sacrament of Holy Orders and be ordained to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Washington.

Due to restrictions on public gatherings in the District of Columbia, Washington Archbishop Wilton Gregory will ordain the men at St. Catherine Labouré in Wheaton, Maryland, during the Mass of Ordination. Currently transitional deacons, the 8 men are Patrick Agustin, Nathanael Anderson, James Glasgow, Jeremy Hammond, Emanuel Lucero, James Morrison, Francisco Rodriguez, and Stefan Yap.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and current restrictions, attendance at the Mass will be limited and the public is not able to attend the Mass in-person. The Mass will be live streamed on the Archdiocese of Washington’s YouTube channel and at adw.org/ordination. Read in-depth profiles of each new priest at cathstan.org.

Parishes throughout the archdiocese will offer Eucharistic adoration this week for the intentions of the men to be ordained to the priesthood and the diaconate.
