The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception will host “40 Hours Devotion” from March 12 through March 14.
The 40 Hours Devotion will begin with the Opening Mass on Thursday, March 12, at 5:15 p.m. The Most Reverend Timothy P. Broglio, Archbishop for the Military Services, USA, will celebrate the Opening Mass. The observance will conclude with the Closing Mass celebrated by His Eminence Sean Cardinal O’Malley, OFM Cap., Archbishop Emeritus of Boston, on Saturday, March 14, at 4:30 p.m.

La Basílica del Santuario Nacional de la Inmaculada Concepción acogerá la “Devoción de las 40 Horas” del 12 al 14 de marzo.
La Devoción de las 40 Horas comenzará con la Misa de Apertura el jueves 12 de marzo a las 5:15 p.m. El Reverendísimo Timothy P. Broglio, Arzobispo para los Servicios Militares, EE. UU., celebrará la Misa de Apertura. La observancia concluirá con la Misa de Clausura celebrada por Su Eminencia el Cardenal Sean O’Malley, OFM Cap., Arzobispo Emérito de Boston, el sábado 14 de marzo a las 4:30 p.m.
