Golf Tournament to Benefit St. Francis de Sales and Other City Schools

St. Francis de Sales School on Rhode Island Avenue in Northeast, Washington, DC, is holding its 2nd annual golf tournament to benefit its PreK-Grade 8 program and the Archdiocese of Washington’s Center City Consortium of 11 schools in financially challenged neighborhoods in the District of Columbia:

Through partnerships with business leaders, the Center City Consortium brings extra resources, unique educational programs geared to students’ particular needs, expanded professional development and much-needed building renovations to Catholic schools in need in our nation’s capital. The Consortium’s 2,000 students are 65 percent non-Catholic; 50 percent are from families living at or below poverty level; 70 percent are from single-parent households and 99 percent are non-White.
