D.C. Candidates Forum for Council Member-At-Large Scheduled

The Archdiocese of Washington’s Legislative Network, Catholic Charities and Lt. Joseph P. Kennedy Institute are sponsoring a Candidates’ Forum for Council Member At-Large:

The moderator, Phyllis Campbell Newsome, director of community relations and advocacy for the Washington Council of Agencies, will ask questions on a wide range of issues that involve the city’s poor and vulnerable residents as well as the common good.

All eleven candidates for the at-large seats have been invited: David Catania, Antonio Dominguez Al Malik Farrakhan, Eugene Kinlow, Phil Mendelson, Chris Ray, Mahdi Shabazz, Dwight Singleton, Michele Tingling-Clemmons, Kweku Toure and Beverly Wilbourn.

The Candidates’ Forum is open to the public. Casa Italiana is located 1-1/2 blocks from the Judiciary Square Metro stop (Red Line).
