Archdiocese to Hold Regional Masses in Memory of Pope John Paul II

Parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Washington will hold a novena of Masses (nine Masses, held daily), starting the day of Pope John Paul II’s funeral on April 8, 2005. Four of the Masses will be larger, regional Memorial Masses celebrated by one of the auxiliary bishops of Washington:
