The Archdiocese of Washington is home to over 560,000 Catholics, 140 parishes and 112 schools located in Washington, DC and five Maryland counties: Calvert, Charles, Montgomery, Prince George’s and St. Mary’s. Nearly one-third of Catholics in the Archdiocese are of Hispanic descent. Mass is celebrated in Spanish each week at 34 churches or missions.
