Mass for World Day of Migrants and Refugees

On the 106th World Day of Migrants and Refugees, Bishop Mario Dorsonville will celebrate a special Mass at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Gaithersburg, MD. This year’s theme, chosen by the Holy Father, is “Forced like Jesus Christ to Flee,” encouraging the Church to focus on the pastoral care of internally displaced people.

All are welcome to join us Sunday, September 27 at 1:30 p.m. in celebrating this live-streamed Mass on St. John Neumann’s parish YouTube channel.

During the Mass, Bishop Dorsonville will also commemorate the feast of El Señor de los Milagros or The Lord of Miracles, the patron saint of the Peruvian community.
