The Evangelization Conference is presented for the benefit of parishes and organizations of the Archdiocese of Washington. Registration fees are requested to help offset the cost of food.

Clergy are invited to a Study Day on “Making Disciples” with keynote speaker Sherry Weddell, author of Forming Intentional Disciples. In this Study Day you will explore intentional evangelization, the thresholds of pre-discipleship and conversion, and best practices for helping people become disciples in the parish. The conference and Clergy Study Day are opportunities for all parish leaders – clergy and lay – to experience shared formation in fostering missionary discipleship in our parishes. Clergy are invited to participate in both events; be aware that some presentations will be repeated.

Yes, however you will not be able to register online. Please contact the Events Office at [email protected]. Include the following information for each participant: First Name, Last Name, Email, Parish (Including City), Role or Ministry in Parish, Whether special accommodations are requested (disability, ASL interpretation, Spanish translation, dietary restrictions).
Are special accommodations available?
ASL Interpretation will be available. All presentations will be in English; simultaneous Spanish translation will be available upon request. About Sherry Weddell
Sherry Anne Weddell created the first charism discernment process specifically designed for Catholics in 1993. In 1997, she co-founded the Catherine of Siena Institute, an affiliated international ministry of the Western Dominican Province, and currently serves as Co-Director. Sherry has developed numerous unique formation resources that are used around the world and trained and helps lead an international team who have worked directly with over 100,000 lay, religious, and ordained Catholics in hundreds of parishes in 137 (arch)dioceses on 5 continents.
